Perfection, which premiered at the Washington Very Special Arts "The Arts Are Magic Festival" at the Kennedy Center in 1995, concerns the adventures and triumphs of a child with special needs on the remote planet Yo-yo.
Affirming the healing power of love and the unique and precious worth of every individual,
Perfection is always performed interactively by the professional company and by members of the host community, who serve as the opera chorus.

Over the years, hundreds of area children and adults, many having special needs
themselves, have performed
in
Perfection. Here are some snapshots from
the open community workshops held on Saturdays at Silver Spring ArtSpace.

The Unidentified Flying Opera Company, Inc. is a non-profit charitable
organization dedicated to serving people with special needs through the arts.
